"I interviewed Diann Peart, PhD in Ecology and co-founder of Truce Clean — a company that makes and sells SAFE, non-toxic, chemical-free cleaning products. I’ve used and tested them myself! And I know if my kids accidentally ate or swallowed them, we wouldn’t need to be rushing off to the hospital (as you probably would with typical cleaning products) or morgue. Truce Clean uses a whopping total of 14 simple, safe and effective ingredients in their products. And even a drug rep can pronounce them. Best of all, they’re more effective than other “green” or “organic” cleaning products that are all just outright lies, anyway."
"Although there are a ton of organic and/or chemical-free products on store shelves these days, they are definitely not all created equal. From the way they clean to the way they smell, some brands are much better than others. And with Truce, I feel like they have mastered it all."
"In a world filled with chemicals there are still companies, like Truce, that are working hard to keep the planet clean and healthy."
"Due to the simplicity, effectiveness and sincerity of this company, I think this product will change the way I purchase cleaning supplies forever."
As a sign of Truce’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, we are honored to be a Green America Certified Business. We consider it our duty to do our part in their mission to “harness economic power—the strength of consumers, investors, businesses, and the marketplace—to create a socially just and environmentally sustainable society." The best part is that we're certified based on our supply chain - meaning our entire process and all the materials we use are as green as can be.
Environmental Working Group is a non-profit organization that works to "empower people to live healthier lives in a healthier environment." Truce is proud to be EWG Verified, having received an A+ rating on all products.
You may be asking yourself why we don’t have more certifications, and that’s understandable.
We could pay thousands of dollars to third-party organizations for them to “certify” us and let us use their logo on our website.
However, we decided to take a different route.
Instead of paying those thousands of dollars, we thought it would be more beneficial to donate proceeds of sales to certain charitable organizations. If we need to spend money, it’s going to be for a cause that has an impact that is important to Team Truce.
Last but not least, we let our products speak for themselves. We’re confident in the safety and effectiveness of our cleaning products, and we have tons of happy customers who will say the same.
