Diann Peart, PhD
Founder + Visionary
Diann is an ecologist and did her graduate research on the feral pigs on Santa Cruz Island, the largest island in Channel Islands National Park in California. She lives on an urban farm in Tempe with 6 hens, 2 large koi, 3 dogs and 11 fruit trees. Before founding Truce, Diann founded a non profit that established teaching gardens at all the schools on the Gila River Indian Community. She loves Annie Lennox, David Bowie and Merle Haggard.

Steven Tripoli
VP of Retail Development
Steven is a big fan of coffee, podcasts, and nature. He’s known to get lost while hiking and should really use trail apps more often. After graduating from Arizona State University, he returned to his hometown in the Hudson Valley of New York to start a community action group called Imaginearth. Steven has always been seeking to work with a mission-driven organization, and is happy to have found that with Truce. He enjoys wearing sweaters and spending time with his dog Fletcher.
Matthew Witenstein
VP of Marketing + Strategic Partnerships
Matthew is avid outdoors-man who enjoys hiking in his free time under the Arizona sun. After graduating from the University of Oregon with a Public Relations degree, Matthew was introduced to Team Truce where his responsibilities have grown to include digital marketing and managing strategic partnerships . Jenna Van Rooy
Director of Design
When Jenna isn’t getting stick and poke tattoos or loving up on her devilishly cute dog, she works as a UI/UX designer and product developer. Upon graduating from Arizona State University in 2017, she launched herself into the world of entrepreneurship and design where she refined not only her professional skills, but her passion for ambitious creative projects.
